Tripping Point # 12: Make Your Calling and Election Sure
Written by Kendall Schnieder
Making Your Calling and Election Sure
Thursday, April 26, 2012
The Bible is replete with warnings to watch out for false teachers and to make our calling and election [or, salvation] sure. The problem, however, is that there is very little training available to prepare the born-again believer for the fast approaching assault against Christians. In America, we are told [incorrectly] that everything is OK, and that Christians in America will not have to face persecution of any magnitude.
Obama Unleashed
Comments on article written by CAL THOMAS March 29, 2012, 11:16 AM - World Magazine
Politicians and presidents of both parties have occasionally suffered from open-mic syndrome, saying something when they thought the microphone was turned off they wished had not been made public. Comments this last week by President Obama sent chills down the spine of almost every American.
“I believe that he’ll proceed to a single-payer system on healthcare, I think Obamacare was just an intermediate step in his mind. If he’s reelected, particularly if there’s a Democratic Congress, he will eliminate the private health insurance industry and all insurance will be from the government and it will all be according to one plan.
“Secondly, I think that he will completely reverse the initiatives of the Bush 43 administration in opening up vast new forms of oil drilling in the U.S. And will eliminate this incredible opportunity we have to dominate the global oil markets and put the terrorists out of business.
“But thirdly, I think...

Tripping Point #11: Growing in Christ and the Sanctification Process
Written by Kendall Schnieder
Growing in Christ and the Sanctification Process
Our Christian life is very unique, and very different from how this world sees God's righteousness. When we become Christians, (ie: we accept Christ as our Savior), God gives to us an instruction book on how we should live our new found life, and also a very unique set of tools to help us follow his instructions.
Tripping Points #10 - The Myth that Apostasy Will Not Happen

The Myth that Apostasy Will Not Happen
Apostasy is a topic that has split the Christian Church right down the middle ever since the Reformation of the 1500's. The question that is put before us today is simply" what are we, as Christians, going to believe: The doctrines of men, or, the Word of God?" Of course the Tripping Point always falls back to our basis for interpreting the Word, which many times is based upon the denomination tend to we call our own.
Now the Spirit says clearly [expressly] that in the last times some people will abandon the faith by following deceitful spirits, the teachings of demons,

Tripping Points #09 - The History of Obama and Israel
Written by Kendall Schnieder
The History of Obama's Support for Israel
To the Christians of America: A new 30 minute video documenting the Obama Administration's support for Israel developed by the Committee for Israel. This is a very informative video to remind usof how the current administration is putting the security of America at risk. America has always been a proponent of Christian / Judeo values, and we are explicitly warned by Almighty God about not supporting the Nation of Israel.

http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | President Obama and his radical feminist enforcers have had it in for Catholic medical providers from the get-go. It's about time all people of faith fought back against this unprecedented encroachment on religious liberty. First, they came for the Catholics. Who's next?
This weekend, Catholic bishops informed parishioners of the recent White House edict forcing religious hospitals, schools, charities and other health and social service providers to provide "free" abortifacient pills, sterilizations and contraception on demand in their insurance plans — even if it violates their moral consciences and the teachings of their churches.
EDITORS NOTE: Most believer in America do not believe that Christian persecution will come to this free land, and thus will not prepare to stand during a time of testing. Jesus said it will and that many will be deceived.

A TIME FOR CHOOSING: Implosion or revival?
Written by Joel C. Rosenberg
Are you praying (even fasting) today for America, for Israel and for the nations of the epicenter? Are you praying specifically for the Lord to raise up leaders who will get America back on the right track economically, spiritually and morally? Are you praying for a massive spiritual revival — a Third Great Awakening — that will turn hearts of millions back to true, sincere, saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and will once again make America the “shining city on a hill” she was for so long?...
Survey Says: Many Pastors Do Not Believe the Bible is Truth
Written by Kendall SchniederHave you ever wondered why it seems like evil is closing in on Christian believers from every side? Or, why there is a global transition towards spiritual decline? A recent survey from a major denomination says that many Christian pastors in America do not believe that the Bible is Truth and trustworthy information. Here are some answers…
Tripping Points #08 - "Lawlessness will abound!"
Written by Kendall Schnieder
Lawlessness will Abound!
And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But those who endure to the end will be saved. Matthew 24:12-13
What did Jesus mean by "lawlessness"? Certainly we can quickly define what that means, and just as quickly point the finger at someone else as the guilty party. But what is the context that caused Jesus to quote this words at this point, and to who was He speaking? Jesus' disciples had just asked the question; "... and what will be the sign of your coming, and the end of the age?"
The first thing Jesus responded with on this question was; "See to it that no one deceives you, for many will come in My name, ...and deceive many." [ Mat 24:4-5 NASB] While this passage was being spoken to the disciples, it was recorded for born again believers in the day in which we live today, "the end of the age"...
Obama's foreign policy failures have yet to explode, but when they do . . .
Written by Caroline B. Glick - Jewish World ReviewBecause it is impossible to know when Obama's failures will begin to directly impact the America people, it is possible that he will not pay a political price for them in the 2012 elections. Be that as it may, the Republican presidential contenders would provide an invaluable service to both themselves and the American public as a whole if they make exposing Obama's disastrous stewardship of US foreign policy a central plank of their campaigns.
At a minimum, forewarned is forearmed. And the dimensions of Obama's failures are so enormous, that it is clear that the American people will suffer their consequences for years to come....
An open letter to all Jews worldwide.
Written by Kendall SchniederAn open letter to all Jews worldwide.
A response to some statements made by President Obama and reported by Haaretz.com.
Obama is reported to say to the U. S. Jews: “My administration has done more than any other to support Israel.” My response is this: Jews, worldwide, have an important role to play in every country where they have been disbursed, and not one Jew should fall prey to lies and deceit no matter where, or from whom, they originate. Every Jew has a much larger calling and responsibility to this age that we live in, to the nations in which they live, and more importantly to the Nation of Israel.

Hunger & Thirst
Hell and Destruction are never full; So the eyes of man are never satisfied. (Pro 27:20)
What defines your Christian life?
Hunger & Thirst are basic human priorities. Those two needs take priority over every other need in life. If they are not satisfied we die. But have you ever thought about how far reaching those two needs extend into our everyday lives?
Basic human instincts. Hunger & Thirst levels the playing field for all of mankind. We all have this need in common, and it is this need that has the tendency to make devils out of each one of us. Take away the things we hunger for and contentment quickly turns into anarchy, and all of the evil that our minds can conceive will be employed on those who have less power...
Ignoring the Warnings
Back in the mid-60’s there was a TV program called “Lost in Space”. This series had a robot that could sense danger, and it was programed to sound the alarm “Danger, Danger, Danger!” That alarm was there to give a warning of imminent danger and that those that heard the warning were to wake up and prepare for whatever was going to happen. Today, governments spend billions of dollars on early warning systems so that we have time to prepare to either avoid the perceived danger or to stand and battle against it...
Obama's God-less Thanksgiving Speech Draws Ire
Written by The Christian PostBy Anugrah Kumar | Christian Post Contributor
Angry reactions are pouring in from across America and beyond after President Barack Obama chose not to thank God but referred to “luck” during his Thanksgiving address in defiance of the holiday tradition’s purpose as established by President George Washington in 1789.
Obama omitted religious references in his three-minute speech although Thanksgiving is “a holiday traditionally steeped in giving thanks and praise to God,” said Fox News Radio host Todd Starnes.
Publishers Note: The leaders of America have been pushing to remove God from society. The Bible tells us that God will give us what we want. Very scary.

Tripping Points: #04 Use It or Lose It

Use It or Lose It
Jesus is saying to us today, "Take care what you listen to. By your standard of measure it will be measured to you; and more will be given you besides. "For whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he has shall be taken away from him." (Mar 4:24-25 NASB)

Freedom from miserable Christianity
Written by ANTHONY BRADLEY November 16, 2011, 11:06 AM
explaining why believers and nonbelievers alike misunderstand what Christianity is all about. There has been a tendency in our culture to pitch Christianity as a means of achieving personal peace and affluence (as Francis Schaeffer often tried to counter). But Tripp points out that if we were honest, we’d find “thousands of sad, defeated, disappointed, doubting, and soon to be cynical Christians out there.” Why? Because we forget about what Jesus accomplished for His people. As such, many Christians simply go through the motions of faith. The life is gone. Faith doesn’t make much sense. And many believers are left feeling miserable.
Complacency
Tripping Points are places in our journey with Jesus Christ that want to take us off of the narrow path to eternal life that Christ has designed for our personal spiritual growth and preparation to meet Him face to face.
Complacency is the feeling that we mortals get when we feel satisfied with ourselves and we want to just kick back and relax. The Tripping Point is that our minds have a perfectly designed mechanism for convincing us that "we deserve to rest" from the trials of life. However, those trials of life that tend to wear us down are what Christ wants us to overcome and be victorious and rested in our souls. The Bible tells us that we can "do all things through Christ who strengthens me" [Philippians 4:13 NKJV]. God did not give us that promise so that we can sit idle. He gave us that promise so that we can "press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us." Idleness causes our faith to become dead.
Those promises that God has so generously given to us are only activated as we conform to His righteousness and are obedient to His instructions. God has given each of us who place our faith in Jesus Christ, everything we need "that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises", that through these you may be partakers of His divine nature. [2 Peter 1:3-4] We have been empowered to overcome this world, but we have to do it God's way. Read the Book of James.

Tripping Points are the temptations, trials and decisions of everyday life that try to take our eyes off Jesus Christ and entice us to follow the ways of the world.
Contending for the Faith
Tripping Points is a series of short blogs which will explore the obstacles that are placed in our path which are designed to take us off the 'narrow path' God has designed for each believer. For example, the first question is what difference does it make if you become a born-again believer? The difference is HUGE! For the non-believer there is no hope, for the Believer there is hope and assurance. The results of a sinful life is eternal death, the results of salvation is eternal life. [Rom. 6:23]
The Tripping Point however, is because new believers are seldom taught the basics of our faith and belief in Jesus Christ, many today do not understand the Biblical call to faith. When we are first born-again, God gives each of us a measure of faith to first accept our sinful condition, secondly, to see our need for a Savior and third, the mandate to come to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. What happens after the point of salvation is that the new believer is allowed to believe that church attendance alone fulfills the obligation of salvation. However, God has called us to salvation for a purpose. Every believer has a talent that he is to use, we have been called to walk in the Spirit, to bear the Fruit of the Spirit and to be salt and light in this sinful world. And we can only do this by exercising our faith and allowing our faith to grow. If we do nothing our faith dies, and without faith we cannot please God. Then the big question becomes, "How many people will enter heaven that do not please God?"
These points are covered in depth in 1 & 2 Peter, James, 1 John and Jude. Re-read these books and take advantage of this great salvation that has been given to us. Learn to live in the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in you. God has great plans for each one of us.

Tipping Points - Who is this US President?
There has always been a question about who Barak Obama really is. He was an unknown that promised change, but we did not know at the time what kind of change he was talking about. When he was elected, we did not know where he was born, or if he was a US citizen. Under great pressure, a birth certificate was finally displayed, but it raised more questions than it answered. We still do not know for sure. More importantly, We citizens of this great Country of the U.S.A. wanted someone as president who would be willing to maintain our status of a world leader and benefactor to those in time of need. What we have realized is that his home land policies and foreign policies are solely directed at globalization and are not pro-America as a sovereign nation or pro-citizenry. He is stepping up his efforts to divide this nation as quickly as possible, and at every level of government and public life as possible.

Open-Mics and Closed Minds
By Arnold Ahlert
http://www.JewishWorldReview.com | There's nothing like a "live mic moment" when it comes to getting the unvarnished truth.
Yet it is hard to decide which part of this story is more revealing: the incident itself, or the subsequent reaction by the Fourth Estaters whose commitment to the standards of journalistic integrity — or perhaps more accurately JournO-listic integrity — seemingly never reach the bottom of an apparently bottomless barrel.
The tale begins at the summit of G-20 nations in Cannes. After meeting with reporters for a presser, French president Nicolas Sarkozy and our very own Barack Obama retreated to a private room to continue their conversation.
Report: Sarkozy calls Netanyahu 'liar'
Microphones accidently left on after G20 meeting pick up private conversation between US, French presidents. Sarkozy admits he 'can't stand' Israeli premier. Obama: You're fed up with him? I have to deal with him every day!
NOTE: Here is further proof that Obama is pro Islam and anti-Christian and anti-Israel. Israel is and has been a very strong partner in the war against terrorism. It is time for the Christian Church to speak up and pray. If it doesn't, it will illustrate why the USA is not mentioned in end times events. 2 Chron. 7:14
