…Until the Fullness of the Gentiles has come in
Watching Biblical Prophecy come to pass on one hand is exciting, and on the other hand, it is kind-of eerie. People all over the world seek information, from fortunetellers, palm readers, philosophers etc., which will give them some insight into the future and meaning of life, while all along ignoring the only prophetic resource, which over the last three thousand years, and hundreds of prophecies, has proven itself to be 100% accurate.

"It is finished!"
Three words which will prove to be the most powerful words ever spoken in the history of all creation. Why did Jesus say those words as He breathed His very last breath? Could the last words a person says carry any weight after he dies? How can the words of a dying man affect the lives and fate of every person ever born?
At the end of His ministry, Jesus Christ the Son of God, was falsely accused of being a heretic and was condemned to die on the cross. What His accusers did not know at the time was that He was in fact that Christ, which the Old Testament prophesied, who would come and become the perfect sinless sacrifice for our sinful nature. At this point in His ministry Jesus said a very interesting phrase that is talked about very little, and is usually ignored or taken out of context because of how we are taught by many (not all) churches, pastors and teachers. Not because they purposefully want to mislead us, but because there is not enough examination of why Jesus made that statement at that particular point in His life. I know that I have been guilty of not examining the power and the depth of this short phrase that Jesus spoke.

Salt & LIGHT of the World - Part 2 of 2
Light
- "You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden.
- People don't light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
- In the same way, let your light shine before people in such a way that they will see your good actions and glorify your Father in heaven." (Mat 5:14-16)
If you haven't read Part 1 of this two part series on Salt & Light, please take the time to do so. I had never given much thought about this subject until one day, a couple of months ago, I was re-reading the Sermon on the Mount, and these four short verses were illuminated in my mind. When that happens, I start to ask questions like: OK! Why did Jesus use the terms "Salt" & "Light"? Why not just say "Be My examples?"

Salt & Light of the World
Salt
"You are the salt of the world. But if the salt should lose its taste, how can it be made salty again? It's good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled on by people.
"You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden.
"People don't light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
"In the same way, let your light shine before people in such a way that they will see your good actions and glorify your Father in heaven." (Mat 5:13-16 ISV)

Can a Christian really understand the End Time Prophecies?

Faith and the Armor of God
Ravi Zacharis said in reference to the effort required to do God's work, "When belief in God becomes difficult, the tendency is to Turn away from Him". I will add to that the opposite end of the spectrum, that when life becomes easy, the tendency is to turn away from Him. It takes effort on the part of every person who has accepted the call of Christ on their life, to stay connected to that call. No one is immune to the disease of complacency and Entropy. If we do not continue our efforts to live the life of Christ and to preach Jesus Christ to change the world, then real shortly the world will change us.

What does Obedience have to do with Salvation?
In the Beginning there was Only One Law-

Salvation is a Choice...
...Not a Demand!

Who is Jesus Christ?

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life
There are many religions in the world today, and to the novice, the selection can be daunting. The question quickly becomes, “Which one is the correct one to follow?” Even though society keeps trying to tell us differently, there cannot be two truths. Just look at the law of mathematics. 1 + 1 always equals 2. We depend on the laws of gravity to always be constant. The rule of law was created so that we can know and have confidence in the outcome, or results, of our actions. And when we break those laws, we always reap undesired consequences.
Many people look at laws as being negative and restrictive. But laws are actually meant to be for our good and to protect us from undesired consequences. The problem is that the heart of man is always trying to change or defy the perfect laws of God in order to satisfy man’s lust, greed and pride.

What is salvation?
Is it just a word, or is it a term, a concept or a doctrine? Is it important? If it is important, Why? What is required for salvation? The Biblical concept of salvation is the most important [gift] that is offered to all of humanity, yet it has been despised and rejected throughout all generations.

This
is not a
TEST!
Remember the radio test where they would interrupt normal broadcasting with those annoying blasts to gain everyone’s attention, and then report that “This is only a test. If it had been an actual emergency, you would be notified where to dial your radio for further information.” Those were the good old days when we were thankful that they were at least setting up some sort of a system that we [believed] would prepare us in advance of some potential danger,
