Hi! My name is Kendall – My purpose is to buildup the faith and hope of [you], my readers, so you can actively 'partake in God's divine nature and escape the corruption of immorality in this 21st century. This is no easy task; Partake in God's divine nature? Escape the corruption of immorality, when it is growing by leaps and bounds in every sector of life. Is this going too far for any website? Very briefly, there is no escaping the discouragement and loss of hope that is taking place in the individual, the family, the education system and governments globally. If we don't get a handle on this personally, soon we [you and I] will have a mental meltdown which will 'seem' like it is just too hard to fix. |
What we are going to do on this website is equip you to;
1- understand what in the world is happening, and
2- to live a victorious overcoming life through the trials that are coming upon the world.
We are going to accomplish this through several methods of communication;
1- Short Blogs that briefly address various subjects which are designed to encourage us,
2- and at the same time we will be looking at news items which reflect the direction that the world is taking to separate man from God,
3- I am going to post numerous in depth articles designed to give us a solid foundation for spiritual stamina, and
4- the Blog section of this site is going to be a community Blog where you will be able to respond, and also to see how others react and view life. I promise, it will be a strengthening process.
We are going to take a strategic look at where this world is headed and why, and also how we can actually rejoice when trials come our way. Spiritual Faith and Hope are key, but neither are an automatic trait. Both Faith and Hope are learned as we submit to God's Word, His inspired instructions.
I am not going into this task with blind folders on. I have already been challenged by the coming tsunami of “It can't be done' and Who will read your Blogs?' But those problems are really designed to challenge me and to force me into narrowing my focus and rethinking my purpose so that I stay on the 'narrow path' I was called to. I understand that this site will not be for everyone. There will be some who are offended, some who will disagree, but there will also be those who need and want this type of community.

As you might know, the Internet and Google operate on Keywords. When you search for something on the Internet, Google will bring websites and articles to your search page that closely match the words you've entered. This site is going to focus on two Keyword combinations:
1- Spiritual Growth; and
2- Apostasy.
If you are like many others, you will look at those words and say, “What?” I agree, that is a very odd focus, however both are at the forefront of your life and your families life, and in the next few Blogs, I am going to attempt to make the importance of those words become real to you. When you look at those words, you will quickly realize that they cannot co-exist. They are opposing word systems. One positive. One negative. One give you life, the other give you death. I choose life, and I hope you will too.
Every day presents a new challenge, both good and bad, new opportunities and a dozen problems that want to stop us cold in our tracks. We have the ‘Positive Thinkers’ that try their best to tell us that it is all in our heads, “Just think positive, don’t look at the problems. If you keep a positive attitude, nothing can stop you.” Then you have the Negative Thinkers. These are the people that find fault in every “thing” and everyone else. The only positives in their life come from how many new problems they found.
Of course, we need both! It isn’t that either view point is wrong, the real crux of the problem is “How we deal with these opposing views.” We have to understand the dynamics of the people that are presenting either their positive, or negative views. We have two huge problems that are inherent to our basic human way of thinking, Greed and Power. Both the Positive Thinkers and the Negative Thinkers have discovered that if they are charismatic enough that they can sell books, draw huge salaries and gain control over different segments of the populace. They find a niche and milk it. This happens in every area of life, from the family unit, to social groups such as churches, politicians and government leaders. Just look at the power struggles that are going on today to create a world government. This struggle is affecting every country, every government and every person on the planet.
These dynamics play havoc with our mind and the decisions we make, and we need to discover;
1- How we deal with these opposing views, and
2- How we can protect our families and ourselves in this age of major conflict.
That is what this website is all about. On one hand, we will look at the problems that face us. Problems that we just cannot afford to ignore. On the other hand we are going to learn how to effectively deal with these problems through the peace and security that is available to each one of us.
We have two main sections in this resource. One is this Blog where, three or four times a week, we will take a brief look at the problems and the Biblical solutions. The second resource is the in depth articles listed in the Menu entitled “ESSENTIALS”. There we will talk about issues that prepare us for this life and eternity, but they are rarely mentioned from church pulpits.
Today, the prudent must be watchful and be prepared to make wise decisions.
A Proverb tells us that “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. (Pro 27:12 NLT) Unfortunately too many people today are taking the latter venue.
